About Caren Travis

Caren A. Travis got her start as a jeweler when, as a child, her jeweler father gave her watches to disassemble and jewelry to play with and wear. Her father also taught her about gem stones, precious metals, beads and Indian jewelry. From this early education, Caren began fashioning her own jewelry by the age of 10, and her passion for designing and fabrication of jewelry as an artform continues to this day.

Caren is a native of Beverly, MA, and her yearbook ambition at Beverly High School was to be a jeweler. She studied craftsmanship at the North Bennett St. School in Boston, MA and graduated in 2002. She apprenticed at the Jewelers Building in Boston and with Carmen's of Marblehead, MA.

Caren currently works out of her studio in Danvers, MA where she does jewelry repair and fabricates classic designs with her own added touch. She will gladly discuss all of your jewelry desires and needs by calling her at 978-777-0319.
